Support on your terms

Independent does not have to mean unsupported.

Many experienced brokers do not want an aggregator involved in every decision they make.

They want the freedom to run their own businesses, while knowing experienced help is available when a scenario, compliance issue, client problem or business challenge arises.

That is the Morbanx model.

Support is opt-in. You decide when it is useful and when it is not.

You remain independent. The support is there when you need it.

Experience you can access

Speak directly with someone who understands the realities of broking.

Morbanx brokers can contact Andrew directly when they need practical assistance.

That access is grounded in more than 45 years in financial services and experience as a banker, broker, business owner, mentor, trainer and aggregation BDM.

The value is not simply being able to reach someone.

It is being able to speak with someone who understands:

  • lender policy;
  • client expectations;
  • deal structure;
  • compliance obligations;
  • business operations;
  • growth challenges;
  • the pressure of running a broking business.
Andrew Larcombe, founder of Morbanx Aggregation

Experience is most valuable when you can actually access it.

Deal support

Practical help when a lending scenario becomes difficult.

Not every deal fits neatly within a policy guide.

When a scenario becomes complex, Andrew can help brokers think through the structure, lender options and practical next steps.

  1. 01

    Deal structure

    Discuss the way a transaction may be structured and where the risks or opportunities may sit.

  2. 02

    Lender policy

    Work through policy interpretation and identify questions that may need to be raised with a lender or BDM.

  3. 03

    Complex scenarios

    Talk through unusual income, security, guarantor, construction, commercial or asset-finance issues.

  4. 04

    Client communication

    Consider how a difficult situation or change in direction should be explained to the client.

  5. 05

    Escalation support

    Receive assistance where a lender issue or operational problem requires further discussion or escalation.

Morbanx does not make lender credit decisions and cannot guarantee lender approval or policy outcomes.

Compliance support

Practical guidance that helps protect the broker, the client and the business.

Compliance should support good broking rather than feel disconnected from it.

Morbanx helps brokers understand and apply their obligations in practical situations, including:

  • file quality;
  • documentation;
  • responsible-lending requirements;
  • Best Interests Duty;
  • disclosure;
  • referral arrangements;
  • record keeping;
  • audit preparation;
  • complaints and difficult client situations.

The broker remains responsible for meeting their obligations. Morbanx provides guidance, feedback and access to the broader compliance infrastructure available through SFG.

Compliance guidance does not replace independent legal advice where legal advice is required.

Business support

Strong brokers still benefit from an outside perspective.

Morbanx support extends beyond individual loan files.

Brokers can seek practical guidance on the commercial and operational side of their businesses.

The objective is not to run the broker’s business. It is to help the broker run it better.

  1. 01

    Business planning

    Review goals, priorities and the next stage of growth.

  2. 02

    Lead generation

    Discuss referral relationships, marketing activity and conversion opportunities.

  3. 03

    Revenue and profitability

    Review settlement activity, commission income, cash flow and business sustainability.

  4. 04

    Pipeline management

    Assess current opportunities, expected settlements and workflow bottlenecks.

  5. 05

    Systems and process

    Identify ways to improve consistency, efficiency and client experience.

  6. 06

    Structured broker reviews

    Use regular reviews to examine progress, performance and development priorities.

Continuous improvement

Professional development should be useful, relevant and practical.

Morbanx provides optional opportunities for brokers to improve their technical knowledge, business capability and professional confidence.

These may include:

  • Morbanx Muster sessions
  • guest speakers
  • group training
  • lender and policy education
  • compliance updates
  • business-development sessions
  • practical case discussions
  • SFG professional-development events

Participation is optional. Brokers can engage with the opportunities that are most useful to them.

The emphasis is not on attending training for the sake of it. The emphasis is on applying useful knowledge to real broker businesses.

When something cannot wait

Some issues need a timely response.

A difficult client situation, urgent settlement issue, lender problem or compliance concern can place significant pressure on a broker.

Morbanx brokers can seek help when an issue requires prompt attention and practical judgment.

Availability may depend on timing and the nature of the issue. Morbanx cannot guarantee lender, settlement or third-party outcomes.

Examples

  • settlement risk;
  • urgent lender escalation;
  • client complaint;
  • unexpected policy issue;
  • file-quality concern;
  • time-sensitive compliance question;
  • technology or operational disruption.

Your business, your decisions

Support is available. Participation is not forced.

Morbanx does not require brokers to seek approval for ordinary business decisions, attend every training session or accept coaching they do not want.

Brokers remain responsible for:

  • their clients;
  • their advice;
  • their compliance;
  • their business decisions;
  • their service standards;
  • their commercial outcomes.

Morbanx provides access, guidance and infrastructure. The broker retains control.

Morbanx provides

Access, guidance, systems, community and infrastructure.

The broker retains

Ownership, responsibility, judgment and control.

Support when you need it. Independence when you do not.

Boutique support, national ambition

Personal access does not require a small geographic footprint.

Morbanx is building a boutique national aggregator, with brokers already operating across multiple states.

Support is delivered through a combination of:

  • direct phone and video access;
  • digital systems;
  • structured reviews;
  • group sessions;
  • online training;
  • Morbanx community channels;
  • SFG infrastructure and resources.

This allows brokers outside Victoria to access the same support model without being treated as secondary members.

Growth

Morbanx’s initial growth target is 50 brokers.

The aim is to grow carefully while preserving the quality of access, support and professional standards.

In their words

Support is best measured by the difference it makes to brokers.

Andrew’s leadership, accessibility and consistent willingness to assist have made a genuine difference to my confidence and growth within the industry.

What makes Andrew different is that he genuinely cares about the long-term success of the brokers he supports.
